Reach measures how
many people have seen your post.
Engagement
measures how many people responded to or interacted with that post.
Knowing the difference between the two will tell you about
your audience, or customers.
The following is a list I compiled from readings on the
internet.
- Create content on your posts with your customer in mind,
what’s most important to them and what would they like
to share with their friends?

- Include images that connect to your customer.
- Ask questions of your fans and/or solicit feedback, engage them.
- Reward participation/engagement on your posts; maybe contests or give-aways.
Analyzing what people are responding to will tell you what
interests your audience, and what you should be doing more of. It will help you
determine the effectiveness of your posts and the strategy you are using.
