These are businesses in San Diego that my family and I have dealt with at one time or another. They are all dynamic organizations using social media as part of their marketing strategy. I think it's safe to assume that they are interested in keeping their current consumers engaged and attracting new interest.

The company my husband works for has a full time position dedicated to social media. They list Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and Google+ on their website. There are also six separate blogs contributed to by different departments. Most of their business is conducted online and they strive to be as connected to their clients as possible.

Hi Kathleen, The Padres use a great deal of social media, as I would expect they would have the capacity and money to have someone post on all those sites. Birch Aquarium has their list of social media sites on a different page, looks like the main page only lists Facebook, YouTube and Twitter. But if you click on the follow us like they have a total of 8 social media sites listed. It's like a hidden secret! Which one was your favorite?
ReplyDeleteI must admit to preferring the aquarium. I'm not certain why they split the social media between two pages. Do you? OMG, there's so much to learn!
DeleteThanks for the nice comments!
